When your decorative style lies somewhere between an urban wiccan, romantic poet, and a nineteenth century ecologist, you don’t need to do much decorating for Halloween. I’ve photographed some of my favorite moments from throughout my east side studio apartment that are especially spooky for autumn. But let’s be honest, the only things I added outside of my usual décor were that edible gourd and sparkly owl.
