The motorcycle industry is a complex and ever-changing beast. Even the components of the industry itself are broad and not necessarily connected. Some of these include motorcycle manufacturers, retail stores, dealerships, gear companies, social groups, instructors, traditional media, online content creators, events managers, custom garages, repair shops, and more.
It's estimated that over 20% of motorcycle owners are female, but it seems like this demographic is largely overlooked. In my YouTube video below, I delve into ways the industry can grow and evolve that are helpful to all riders— from normalizing the activity of motorcycling & championing commuters to expanding the gear options available to consumers. Inclusivity of more types of people can yield powerful results and a wonderfully diverse community.
